Shabbat Study Chavurah

The Shabbat Study Chavurah, led by Rabbi Vernon, meets once a month for about an hour following the Shabbat Mincha service to discuss rabbinic commentaries on some aspect of the weekly Torah portion.  Though we try to meet on the second Shabbat of each month, circumstances often determine a different week, so always check the calendar. Flyers are sent out in advance. Please post them wherever you keep track of synagogue events. We use the Soncino Torah commentary, which includes selections from 6 medieval Jewish commentators. There are usually enough copies of the text for everyone. No advance preparation is required and questions are greatly appreciated.
